Bryan is the Facilities Caretaker; he is diligent and detail orientated. Bryan has excellent problem solving, organization, and communication skills that equip him with the ability to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for everyone to gather in fellowship to praise the Lord.
Outside of work Bryan has a family, a wife and a daughter who he loves to spend time with. He was born in Paraguay and raised in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. He blew in from the west and has settled down here in Manitoba. Bryan is an outdoorsy person who enjoys 20 degree + weather.

Priscilla serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at our church, where her gentle spirit and deep compassion create a nurturing space for women to feel seen, supported, and spiritually encouraged. With a quiet strength and a heart for discipleship, she is passionate about helping women grow in their faith, build meaningful connections, and discover the beauty of walking closely with Jesus. Priscilla seeks to always be a listening ear, while offering practical guidance and offering solid ground amongst an unstable life. Outside of ministry, she finds joy and inspiration in art, jewelry making, baking and most importantly supporting and enjoying time with her husband and 2 kids. Whether she’s playing in the garden or baking cookies, Priscilla strives to bring warmth, creativity, and intentional care to everything she does.

Colette is an energetic and passionate Young Adult Ministry director at church, where she values creating space for engaging, relational, and Christ-centred experiences for the young adult community. With a heart for prayer and being the hands and feet of Jesus through serving others, she is focusing on walking alongside young adults to establish firm foundations in their faith. Colette loves getting to know people and making them feel welcomed. She also enjoys conversing with others about their walk with the Lord and what they are growing in. Outside of her ministry work, she is an English instructor for newcomers and enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Colette also loves going for coffee, traveling, volunteering at Eagle Lake Bible camp, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Amy is the enthusiastic and dedicated Children’s Ministry Coordinator here at church, where she has a passion for creating fun, engaging, and faith-filled experiences for kids. With a heart for teaching and guiding young minds, she focuses on helping kids build a strong foundation in their faith and working together with countless amazing volunteers. Amy loves connecting with children and their families, and she works hard to build a welcoming, supportive community for all. Outside of her ministry work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 kids, supporting her kids in their various activities. Amy also loves traveling, gardening, and spending time outdoors every chance she gets.

Daphne serves as the Financial Secretary of BCC, dedicated to maintaining accurate financial records with integrity and transparency. With a heart for stewardship, she oversees contributions, tracks church finances, and ensures proper financial reporting.
Daphne works closely with church leadership to support financial planning, ensuring the church’s resources are managed wisely. Committed to faith and financial accountability, she plays a vital role in advancing the church’s mission. When not at work, Daphne enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Lisa serves as the Administrative Assistant at BCC, where she helps keep daily operations running smoothly. With a heart for service and strong organizational skills, Lisa supports the ministry by managing communications, coordinating events, and ensuring the church office remains a welcoming and efficient space.
Lisa enjoys working behind the scenes to support the pastoral staff and help to achieve the church’s mission. When not at work, she loves to spend time with family and friends, watching her children’s sports activities and going camping.

Mitchell graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry from Providence in 2016. He started his role as Youth Pastor here that same fall in 2016. He lives in Blumenort with his wife Becca and daughter Estelle. Mitchell loves sports and games, working on a team, and goldfish crackers! He believes that families and churches can work together to disciple the youth of our community. As a youth ministry, we believe that our role is to love the students of our community, and provide a safe environment for them to explore faith and grow as disciples of Jesus the Christ!

Barry has been part of this church his whole life, growing up on a dairy farm nearby. He and his wife, Norine, enjoy spending time with their three married children and eight grandchildren.
After graduating from SBC, Barry served as a youth pastor for eight years before earning his Bachelor of Education and teaching high school. He became lead pastor at BCC in 2000, serving until 2022, with a year of teaching in Cambodia. He now splits his time as Associate Pastor of Community Life and Director of Eagle Lake Bible Camp.
Barry has a deep love for the church and its role in the world. He enjoys sports, especially hockey and golf, and has also worked in construction trades.

Andrew joined the BCC staff in September 2024 as Associate Pastor of Administration, though he has been a part of the church his whole life. His love for the details and organization lead him first to a career in accounting and serving on various finance boards, graduating from Providence College in 2014 with B.A in Business and achieving his CPA designation in 2018.
Andrew loves to use any skills he has for the Lord and is involved with Seniors Ministry and Music Ministry as well. Andrew lives in Blumenort with his wife Tess. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer, board/card gamer, racquet sports enthusiast, and Geocacher. He loves to spread the Joy of the Lord through his enthusiastic and humorous nature, leading other closer to the Lord with encouragement and inspiration.

James has the privilege of serving as the Senior Pastor at Blumenort Community Church, a place he’s called home for 25 years. He began working at the church in the fall of 2019, and in the spring of 2022, he stepped into the role of Senior Pastor. James holds a BA from Steinbach Bible College and an MDiv from Providence Theological Seminary. He’s passionate about walking alongside others as they seek to follow Christ together.
James lives in Blumenort with his wife and three children and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve in the community that has shaped so much of who he is.
